Holiday Rental Agreement: 50% of the rental fee is due with your booking. We can hold the booking one week awaiting the arrival of your check. The balance plus the refundable security deposit of $250 is payable 30 days prior to arrival. If you book less than 30 days prior to your arrival, full payment is due with your booking. The deposit will be refunded after your stay, minus a $50 Cleaning/utilities charge.. Payments may be made by check, money order, Traveler's Checks and Visa. If second payment is not received 30 days prior to arrival, the owner may cancel the agreement, and keep the booking deposit. The tenant is liable for payment as per the conditions of cancellation set out below. The security deposit, less any deductions, will be refunded no later than
1 week after the end of your stay. The $50 Cleaning/Utility
Fee will be deducted as well as the cost for any damages and lost items.
Any breakage must be reported to the Innkeeper prior to vacating the house.
Cancellation for Monthly rentals: If the tenant cancels more than 90 days before commencement of rental period, all the deposit is returned minus the $300 advertising/administration fee. Less than 90 days, the refund is refunded only if the cottage is rented by a new tenant, minus any cost for renting. A holiday cancellation insurance is therefore recommended.
